Intramurals
Intramural sports at Excelsior Academy allows students of all ages and abilities to learn these values of sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork, but in a less competitive environment. Intramurals provide students the opportunity to play organized sports with their peers on a weekly basis during lunch. Every student will play in each game provided they have met their academic responsibilities during the week. The featured intramural sport will often coincide with the current interscholastic sport and with the PE curriculum, allowing students a forum in which to practice and demonstrate the skills they are learning on a daily basis. An exciting component of the intramurals sports program is the chance for teams to move to tournament play and to win championship awards.
